Today I tried two new fruits for the very first time:

First, was the white peach for breakfast. It reminded me a lot of the sweetest peach...but then with a touch of honey. Reminds me why I love white peach tea.

Then, after my run....was the dragonfruit. I have to say that it was amazing to look at...but it tasted like crap. It really didn't have much of a taste at all except for all the seeds that reminded me of poopyseeds. So, I think I'll stick to the flavored gum on that one.

In other news...I have discovered the wonderful world of shamisen music (the 3 stringed guitar-like instrument played by most renditions of geisha). I found a great cd of Noh music that features a lot of solo performances with the shamisen.

I am reading The Traveler by John Twelve Hawks (what an original name)...I started last Sunday when we visited my aunt at the hospice. It's really quite good.
